Meeting Minutes 12/14-15/2011

1. E-Board Members Currently I have only have received interested parties from C-chift and the Inspection area. Chris Benefield is the shift steward for Inspection and Jason Payne is the shift steward for C-Shift. Email will be sent out again for open postions.

2. Update for Johnson arbitration- we should have an answer from the arbitrator by the 1st of the year

3. Discussion over the Overtime list Came up with a plan

4. Short Term/ Long Term disability has been in affect starting Febuary 2011. Due have been paid by the Washington State fund while Boeing could put together the correct pay codes for the members that did not want the insurance. As of January there will be no option to not except the insurance with your membership. Members should talk to non-members about joining the Union before this is in effect if they wish to not accept the insurance.

5. Question about the news regarding the Wichita Site decision

6. Discussion over contract survey topics.  Hot topics, Wellness program, Pay, and verbage in the contract.

7. Assure that all members are set up on IAFF member website votes will be conducted on the site from now on and all members will need to be set up with ID and Password. If they do not have this set up get with Summer to get your personal information. You can go thru the website it just takes alittle longer to take effect.
