A short version of the Union Meeting  June 16-17, 2010

1. A vote for the Disability Insurance and a District Trustee will be around Aug 1st.

2. The agreements discussed VIP and Layoff. It was agreed we will wait until contract to use as a bargaining unit

3.Explained the need of a district Trustee, nominations and vote to come very soon.

4. Ray Williams is now the Union Steward on B shift.

5. New overtime lists are in the works, committee of 2 persons per shift.

6. Update on Johnson currently in Stage 5 of the contract grievance.

7. A letter was presented for a proposed letter of understanding  See the board. A show of hands was taken to check into the letter more and/or change some of the wording 7 to 1. For information see your union steward.

8. New Hires were talked to about joining the Union.
